Charity Jones is back from Nashville with her all-original album.
Unable to box her into any genre, her soulful voice and violin have always set her apart. But now it all comes to life in a brand new way. Bringing to light the sound of her past-era inspirations like Carole King, Paul McCartney, and ELO, and combining that with her modern stories, captures her nostalgic yet unique style. Songs like Gold and All My Heart, All the Time will take you back to the '60s, while Antisocial Butterfly and Ready to Go are harmonious with Charity's distinct sound.
So, Why PROMISED?
"I was a wildflower wanderin' through the wilderness... but you brought me home and it's good just like you promised.."
As a young artist driven to follow her dreams, Charity found herself a long way from home many times. From wandering out west in Colorado to singing on the "city on a hill" in Boston, Massachusetts, Charity was a wildflower, growing wherever she was planted. But after years through the mountains and the valleys, she was finally called back to Florida in 2020. Letting God take the lead, she finally felt at home for the first time in her life. Dreams have been coming true ever since, just like all of us are promised in Psalm 37:4.
From being broken down, learning things the hard way, to being made new and brought to a Promised land, Charity tells all in her album, Promised.
PROMISED MERCH
